Follow the White Rabbit

This video is the first I have seen that voices my concern over social networking. As educators, we have to find a way to encourage critical thinking in our students, yet are we helping to create a generation that cannot perform without an audience? Does life’s minutiae really need to have a twitter entry? Does every decision need to be consulted on a vast social network? Where does reliance on self come into play?

This is probably why you see so many entries on social networking on this blog. It’s my own way of working out this dilemma.
