Changing The Default Web Browser

In order to change the default web browser on your mac, you must do the following:

Launch Safari
From the Safari menu choose Preferences
Make sure the General Tab is selected
Next to “New Windows Open With:”, choose a browser from the default popup menu.

My personal favorite web browser is Firefox.

Evaluating Websites

Accuracy (who wrote it and are they qualified, is the information accurate)
Authority (is the domain appropriate to the site, understand the difference between a webmaster and an author)
Objectivity (is there bias, what type of advertising is there)
Currency (when was [...]
