Drop.io allows you to privately share files online. The files are not indexed by a search engine and you can store up to 100 mb.

Dropbox allows you the capability to store files online which then can be synced to other computers (Mac or PC). You need to download and instal a free program. Once installed, you can take a quick tour or watch the video.
